Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate thermal management systems for electric vehicle platforms
- Conduct thermal modeling and simulation to optimize battery, motor, and power electronics cooling
- Perform thermal performance testing, data analysis, and root cause investigations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers on EV thermal integration
- Support development of battery thermal management systems (BTMS) including liquid cooling and heat pump strategies
- Drive design improvements through CFD analysis, bench testing, and vehicle-level validation
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and customer stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience in thermal engineering within the automotive or EV industry
- Proficiency in thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS, STAR-CCM , or equivalent CFD software
- Hands-on experience with battery thermal management, HVAC, or powertrain cooling systems
- Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics principles
- Experience with vehicle-level testing and data acquisition systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset
