What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mapping Conversion Specialist position at Innovative Systems LLC?
Innovative Systems is currently seeking applicants for an entry level Mapping Conversion Specialist. This position is located in Mitchell, SD and would be responsible for converting client’s mapping records to Innovative Systems’ Mapping software.
Duties Include:
- Assist with conversion of data into eLation Mapping software.
- Interpret data from outside sources.
- Updating outside plant maps to be spatially accurate.
- Working with the latest mapping software.
Preferred Applicant Will Have:
- Experience and knowledge of telecommunications outside plant.
- Experience with GIS software a plus, but not required.
- Experience with eLation Mapping software a plus, but not required.
- Experience with AutoCAD software a plus, but not required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Be able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work with project deadlines.
