Job Title: Restaurant Food Runner
Position Summary:
The Runner supports the front-of-house team by delivering food promptly, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role is essential to ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
· Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables
· Reset tables promptly for incoming guests
· Assist servers with guest needs as directed
· Keep dining areas, service stations, and floors clean and organized
· Refill water, bread, condiments, and other table items as needed
· Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking
· Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
· Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Qualifications:
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Attention to cleanliness and detail
· Ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout a shift
· Previous restaurant experience is a plus
