Administrative Assistant – Construction Office (QuickBooks a Plus)

About the Job: We’re a hardworking construction company looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant to help keep the office organized and support the field and project teams. If you’re good with numbers, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with QuickBooks, you’ll be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, manage emails, and keep the office running smoothly
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and basic bookkeeping
- Enter job costs, receipts, and vendor bills into QuickBooks
- Collect timesheets and maintain accurate job files
- Prepare purchase orders and track materials
- Support project managers with paperwork, scheduling, and job documentation
- Work with vendors, greet visitors, and provide general office support
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous admin experience; construction office experience is a plus
- Accounts experience and comfort working with numbers
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (email, spreadsheets, basic office software)
- Organized, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Able to handle a busy environment and shifting priorities
