What You'll Do:
- Verify products and quantity of items delivered by order pickers to packing slips by physically verifying part numbers, quantity of each item(s), measurement or description, etc.
- Report defective materials, inaccurate quantity or wrong part to the Depot Supervisor.
- Palletize and shrink-wrapping product for shipping.
- Assemble boxes and box kit according to requirements.
- Operate shrink-wrap turnstile and banding equipment as needed to package material.
- Ensure that products are packed correctly so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages/shortages.
- Pack merchandise according to requirements.
- Seal cartons using tape or other materials.
- Mark and label cartons using marking tools.
- Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
- Ability to lift/move 50lbs using proper lifting skills.
Job Requirements:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2 years warehouse experience
- Ability and experience driving a forklift.
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to solve problems in the moment.
- Experience working in fast moving environments with changing priorities.
- Must be very organized.
- Good verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
