What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater/Operator position at Innovative Sintered Metals?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Floater/ Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Powdered Metal Molding Presses and/or Sintering Ovens to produce high-quality parts.
Duties:
- Remove parts from press turntables to trays, pallets, or carts.
- Load/Unload Sintering Ovens according to specifications
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in powder metal manufacturing is a plus, but will train the right person.
- Experience with micrometer reading.
- Good math skills.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
