We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Auto Parts Counter Professional to join our team. Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories based on vehicle specifications and repair needs
- Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures
- Manage inventory levels through inventory management systems (CMMS) and ensure stock accuracy through regular stock checks and order fulfillment
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash handling duties, and maintain proper cashiering procedures
- Maintain organized stock shelves, stocking new parts, and ensuring proper labeling for easy retrieval
- Support dealership or retail sales efforts through marketing initiatives and upselling complementary products
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory control
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone and in person
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
