The Global Force Manpower Support Specialist provides direct support to MARCENT’s manpower planning and global force management functions. This role ensures the command’s manpower requirements are aligned with operational needs by analyzing assignment data, coordinating with service headquarters, and supporting personnel allocation processes. With 7–10 years of experience, including service as a Personnel Officer or in human resources specialties, the specialist leverages expertise in USMC employment concepts, coordination processes, and force management systems such as C2IE. By integrating operational requirements with personnel readiness, the Global Force Manpower Support Specialist enables MARCENT to sustain combat-ready forces worldwide. ***THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Support manpower planning and global force management processes.
- Analyze assignment data to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- Coordinate manpower issues with USMC commander and service headquarters.
- Provide advisory input on employment concepts, allocation, and force utilization.
- Leverage C2IE system for manpower tracking and decision support.
Supplemental Duties:
- Assist MARCENT leadership in forecasting manpower requirements across USCENTCOM AOR.
- Prepare reports and recommendations on personnel allocation trends.
- Support integration of MARCENT manpower planning with joint/coalition operations.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure manpower planning documentation is archived according to records management standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- 7–10 years of experience in manpower or personnel officer roles or HR specialties.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in USMC employment concepts and processes.
- Experience in coordination with USMC commander and service headquarters.
- Proficiency with C2IE.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to analyze and forecast manpower requirements.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with higher headquarters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manpower reporting tools.
- Organizational skills to manage assignment data and allocation processes.
Location:
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
Work Environment:
Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. Involves coordination with service manpower and personnel headquarters.
Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use and data analysis.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility for operational requirements.
License and Other Requirements:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card.
