The Force Management and Requirements Analyst supports MARCENT by analyzing force management needs, validating requirements, and recommending improvements for force readiness. This role reviews and validates MARCENT force requirements, coordinates requirements with CENTCOM and HQMC, and provides recommendations for force sourcing solutions. The analyst also tracks force deployment requirements and maintains supporting documentation. With 5–7 years of military operations or force management experience, and expertise in Global Force Management processes, requirement generation, and deployment message drafting, the analyst ensures alignment of requirements with operational needs and capabilities while managing Relief in Place/Transfer of Authority processes. By combining operational knowledge with requirements validation, the Force Management and Requirements Analyst strengthens MARCENT’s ability to plan, source, and sustain forces across the CENTCOM AOR. ***THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Review and validate MARCENT force requirements.
- Coordinate requirements with CENTCOM and HQMC.
- Provide recommendations for force sourcing solutions.
- Track force deployment requirements and supporting documentation.
- Manage requirement generation, review, and alignment with operational needs and capabilities.
- Draft and provide deployment information messages in support of force planning.
- Support Relief in Place/Transfer of Authority processes.
Supplemental Duties:
- Assist MARCENT leadership in identifying force gaps and recommending sourcing solutions.
- Contribute to lessons learned processes for force management and requirements validation.
- Develop SOPs for requirements tracking and deployment documentation.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure deployment and requirements documentation is archived according to records management standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5–7 years of experience in military operations or force management.
- Expertise in Global Force Management processes.
- Experience in requirement generation, review, and alignment with operational needs.
- Experience drafting and providing deployment information messages.
- Experience supporting Relief in Place/Transfer of Authority processes.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to analyze and validate force requirements effectively.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for working with CENTCOM and HQMC.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and force management tools.
- Organizational skills to track and document deployment requirements.
Location:
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
Work Environment:
Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. May involve coordination with CENTCOM and HQMC on force management issues.
Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use and documentation handling.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility for operational requirements.
License and Other Requirements:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card.
