The Defense Readiness Reporting Analyst supports MARCENT in managing reporting requirements within the Defense Readiness Reporting System. This role collects unit status data for readiness reporting, ensures accuracy and timeliness of submissions, and provides readiness analysis to support leadership decision-making. The analyst coordinates readiness reporting with HQMC and CENTCOM, ensuring MARCENT compliance with established readiness processes. With 5–7 years of readiness assessment experience and expert-level knowledge of DRRS-MC, DRRS-S, MRMOT, MCRT, and JTIMS, the analyst ensures MARCENT maintains accurate and actionable readiness data across the CENTCOM AOR. By combining system expertise with operational awareness, the Defense Readiness Reporting Analyst improves MARCENT’s ability to track, assess, and report force readiness in support of combatant command requirements. ***THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Collect unit status data for readiness reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of readiness submissions.
- Support leadership decision-making by providing readiness analysis.
- Coordinate readiness reporting with HQMC and CENTCOM.
- Provide expert-level support on DRRS-MC, DRRS-S, MRMOT, MCRT, and JTIMS.
Supplemental Duties:
- Assist MARCENT leadership in identifying readiness trends and gaps.
- Support development of SOPs for readiness data collection and reporting.
- Provide training and advisory support on readiness systems to subordinate units.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure readiness documentation is archived according to records management and security standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5–7 years of experience in readiness assessment, reporting, or military/government operations.
- Expert-level knowledge of DRRS-MC, DRRS-S, MRMOT, MCRT, and JTIMS.
- Knowledge of readiness assessment processes and Marine Corps readiness tools.
- Secret clearance required.
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret readiness data and identify trends.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and readiness reporting tools.
- Effective communication and briefing skills for readiness reporting to leadership.
- Collaboration skills to coordinate reporting with HQMC, CENTCOM, and subordinate units.
Location:
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
Work Environment:
Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. May involve coordination with readiness system managers at HQMC and CENTCOM.
Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use and data management.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility for readiness reporting deadlines.
License and Other Requirements:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card.
