The CI/HUMINT CHARC Support Specialist provides dedicated support to the Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Collection Requirements Cell , enabling MARCENT to validate, prioritize, and integrate HUMINT requirements into operational planning. This role analyzes collection requirements for alignment with mission objectives, coordinates HUMINT tasking and deconfliction with higher headquarters, and drafts and maintains documentation supporting HUMINT activities. The specialist also provides recommendations to improve HUMINT requirement management and ensures that MARCENT’s intelligence needs are synchronized with broader theater priorities. By combining knowledge of HUMINT collection management with strong analytical and communication skills, the CHARC Support Specialist helps ensure intelligence resources are applied effectively to support MARCENT operations. ***THIS EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD***
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Analyze collection requirements to ensure alignment with operational priorities.
- Coordinate HUMINT tasking and deconfliction with higher headquarters.
- Draft and maintain requirements documentation for HUMINT activities.
- Provide recommendations to improve HUMINT requirement management.
Supplemental Duties:
- Assist in integrating HUMINT collection requirements into MARCENT intelligence production.
- Support preparation of HUMINT requirement briefings for leadership.
- Contribute to developing SOPs for HUMINT requirement validation and tracking.
Administrative Duties:
- Ensure requirement documentation and tasking records are archived in accordance with records management policies.
- Maintain compliance with DoD and MARCENT procedures for HUMINT requirement management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Intelligence or National Security Studies preferred.
- 7-10 years experience. Prior USMC MOS 0211 preferred.
- Familiar with HUMINT collection management processes.
- Strong writing, data management, and coordination skills.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to analyze HUMINT collection requirements against operational priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and intelligence requirement tracking tools.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with higher headquarters and partner organizations.
- Attention to detail in drafting and maintaining HUMINT requirement documentation.
Location:
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
Work Environment:
Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. May involve secure facility operations and coordination with theater-level HUMINT entities.
Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work with extensive computer use and document handling in secure environments.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility for operational requirements.
License and Other Requirements:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card.
