Team Leader 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

The Team Leader can assume the management role for our production teams. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for developing efficient work methods and collaborating with employees to increase productivity while maintaining a strong safety record.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are as outlined below but not limited to the following:

- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations

- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production or processing of parts, such as inspectors, mold setters

- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments

- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals

- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions

- Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training

- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances

- Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards

- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

Qualifications:

-This position requires a working knowledge of all facets of the Injection Molding process

-High School education

-Minimum of 3 years proven success in the industry

-Good written and communication skills

Work Environment/Hazards:

Operate independently (in a team environment) any injection molding machine, grinder or other small equipment used in the production of injection molded products. Must have a working knowledge of all parts being produced. Innovative Plastic Molders Inc. is an alcohol, controlled-substance and drug free facility. Any violation may result in immediate dismissal.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting to 50 pounds, and exposure to moderate noise and temperature levels.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
