What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Assistant position at Innovative Orthodontics?
Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
- Take and develop orthodontic x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care instructions
- Complete orthodontic records and chairside procedures as assigned
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and patient records
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Complete annual OSHA and HIPPA training and abide by all regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in dental assisting preferred, but not required
- Desire to learn, acquire new skills, and work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
