Job Title: Analyst Programmer
Department: IT
Status: Full Time / Exempt
Reports To: Chief Information Officer
The Analyst Programmer is responsible for designing and implementing custom software solutions, integrating with external systems, and supporting legacy applications while contributing to modernization initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains and supports multiple systems including, but not limited to ERP’s, e-commerce websites, and databases.
- Demonstrates initiative and works independently as needed to accomplish responsibilities.
- Manages technical projects including deadlines, tracking task progress, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Acts as an escalation point for support teams during outages or degraded system performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with clients, senior management, sales reps, etc.
- Intellectually curious. Ability to think beyond the basic confines of the role, review data, analyze user and customer needs, and present solutions based on these observations.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent field, with three (3) or more years of experience as an analyst, developer, or related technical position; or an associate in information technology with five (5) or more years of experience; or 7 years' experience in a related analytical role
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft T-SQL
- Proficient with object-oriented programming languages (C#, X or related) and an understanding of software development life cycles
Preferred Qualifications, Not Required
- Microsoft SQL Server – relational database design & understanding, performance tuning and monitoring
- Web Development – ASP.net
- Experience with X12, AX 2009 (X ) and legacy system analysis.
- Power BI or SSRS report development
