Position: Testing Proctor (Computer-Based Exams)
Part time position
Join our team as a Testing Proctor, where you will oversee adults completing licensing and certification examinations in a secure and professional testing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity to ensure all testing protocols are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Testing Room: Set up the computer-based testing environment, ensuring all systems and materials are ready for examinees.
- Verify Identity: Check each examinee’s identification to confirm eligibility for testing and guide them to their assigned computer station.
- Monitor Testing Sessions: Vigilantly oversee the testing room to ensure the integrity of the exam. Keep an eye out for any irregular behavior or technical issues, ensuring a fair and secure experience for all.
- Test Material Management: Manage the distribution and return of any required materials while safeguarding the confidentiality and security of test content.
- Assist with Pre-Test Setup: Help examinees with any necessary setup procedures, including logging into computer systems and entering demographic information as needed.
- Report Irregularities: Promptly report any incidents, technical malfunctions, or unusual behavior to the Testing Coordinator or Supervisor.
Control Admissions: Manage the flow of individuals into and out of the testing room, ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete and maintain any required documentation or reports related to testing sessions.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address fundamental computer or software issues that may arise during testing, ensuring minimal interruption to the exam process.
- Flexibility: Support the overall operations of the testing center by performing additional tasks as required.
