Laborers, Bricklayer and Stone Masons,

We are a growth oriented and employee focused masonry restoration company looking for experienced and committed Brick and Stone Masons for our MN, KS and FL markets.

The Skilled Mason position at Innovative Masonry Restoration is to perform a wide variety of tasks in the field as it relates primarily to the repairs and restoration of exterior buildings. This position reports to the foreman of the project/job site.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Laying of building materials including brick, block and stone or other construction materials. The laying and installation may be new or restoration of existing units.
• Tuckpointing, striking and cleaning of mortar joints to meet the finish joint style specified by the owner/engineer.
• Removal and Installation of sealants and caulking materials.
• Preparation of areas and surfaces for work. This includes but is not limited to pressure cleaning, cutting mortar joints, demolition of existing materials, cleaning and preparation for repairs.
• Fabrication and repairs to the work area to the blue print requirements or to industry standards.
• Ensures quality and workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards and engineer plans or drawings.
• Prepares the job site for work including mobilization of equipment, setting up fencing and baracades, erecting scaffolding and/or swing staging.
• Operates required equipment including power tools, lifts, saws or other tools and equipment required for projects.
• Calculates and measures required areas and materials for correct installation.
• Perform any and all work that may vary from above or is assigned by foreman.

Knowledge – Skills - Requirements

• Demonstrates the skills to provide the finish work to meet and exceed industry standards or the engineered drawings and specifications.
• Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Skilled in construction, alterations, repairs of masonry / stone structures and surfaces.
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools, equipment and provide correct masonry and restoration repair techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge of work safety, OSHA compliance, professionalism. Ability to work from heights.
• Demonstrates the ability to provide work output similar to other skilled masons.
• Minimum 3 years of previous related work experience.
• Requires the ability to travel.

OSHA 10 or 30 certificate preferred.

Skilled laborers will also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
