What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processing and Shipping position at Innovative Marine?
The Order Processing Specialist will be responsible for the workflow of order creation, customer service calls and emails, picking orders, and scheduling shipping. This position will provide operational support to production and operations personnel, is responsible for processing orders and recording each order. You should be a self-starter, a fast learner, accurate inputting information and be able to work independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities
- Customer profile creation, sales order entry, pick and pack orders
- Submit routing request, create packing list/invoice
- Contact customers with details and request information regarding orders
- Create shipping documents in parcel and LTL
- Perform data entry relative to work orders and purchase orders
- Filing paperwork
Requirements
- Must have Assistant Manager Experience.
- Must be very detailed oriented
- Able to type at least 65 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Arriving on time daily Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Minimum 1 year experience in order processing or related field
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Impeccable organization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines accurately
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple competing tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in scheduling shipping with USPS, UPS, FEDEX and LTL companies
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word, Google docs, Dropbox and POS inventory system

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
