Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the highest quality standards are met while adhering to safety and efficiency protocols. Duties
- Operate CNC lathe machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, Okuma LT's & Okuma single spindle lathes to produce complex metal parts with precision and consistency.
- Set up machines by installing tooling
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC lathes using G-code and M-code for Fanuc, ensuring optimal machining parameters for quality output.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measurement tools for quality control.
- Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications standards and other measurement instruments.
- Utilize manual machining skills with hand tools and grinders when necessary for tooling or minor adjustments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of setups, inspections, and production logs in compliance with quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes, particularly Okuma or Fanuc controls
- Background in CNC programming including G-code, M-code
- Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of machining tools, tooling setup, and machine calibration procedures.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges.
- Basic math skills essential for precise measurements and calculations in machining processes.
- Ability to work safely with power tools, hand tools, grinders, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
