Role Description
This is a Contract hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Stockton, CA, with flexibility for some remote work.
The Mortgage Loan Officer will assess client financial needs, guide them through the mortgage application process, and offer solutions tailored to each client's real estate goals.
Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating loan applications, collaborating with underwriting teams, maintaining client relationships, and staying informed about trends and regulations in the mortgage lending industry.
The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and building trust with borrowers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency and experience in the mortgage industry, including Mortgage Lending and concepts related to Underwriting
- Knowledge or experience working as a Loan Officer or in similar roles a plus.
- Strong skills in providing excellent Customer Service, including effective communication and relationship building with clients
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards in mortgage lending
- Ability to work independently and effectively in both office and remote environments
- Previous experience in real estate financing or lending within California area is a plus
- Real Estate License Required.
