The Jr. Embroidery Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by expertly operating embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered designs on various textiles. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that each piece meets precise specifications and quality standards. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, selecting appropriate threads and materials, and monitoring the embroidery process to prevent defects. Collaboration with the design and production teams is essential to interpret patterns accurately and meet production deadlines. Ultimately, the Embroidery Operator contributes to the company's reputation for excellence by delivering consistent, visually appealing embroidered products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating embroidery machines or similar textile manufacturing equipment.
• Basic understanding of embroidery patterns, thread types, and fabric characteristics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or design templates.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in textile manufacturing or embroidery technology.
• Experience with computerized embroidery machines and related software.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for embroidery equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control standards in textile production.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions independently.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production schedules.
• Load fabrics and materials onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and tension for accurate stitching.
• Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and perform necessary touch-ups or repairs.
• Maintain and clean embroidery equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
• Collaborate with design and quality control teams to understand project requirements and implement feedback.
• Document production data, including quantities completed, machine issues, and maintenance activities.
