• 2nd Shift = 2pm-12am (4 day Wk / Mon-Thur) / $4.00 Shift Differential

I. SUMMARY:

Sets up and operates computer numerically controlled machines (CNC) to perform machining operations by performing the following duties.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.

· Locate and down load programs from a storage system.

· Interpret work instructions.

· Identify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed.

· Calculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of materials.

· Employee must be able to set up all necessary measuring equipment and routinely check the calibration of the equipment while measuring.

· Understands capabilities of tooling and machinery.

· Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.

· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

· Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to all Innovative Hydraulics policies and procedures.

· Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to reduced setup times and improve productivity.

· Seek out, identify, and actively participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.

· Create and maintain a lean team focused work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
