We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. - Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documentation, and records.
- Conduct margin analysis and inventory valuation for monthly close processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed cost data.
- Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory transactions for accuracy and identify variances.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to cost accounting and inventory.
- Develop and improve cost allocation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (experience with NetSuite a plus).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, mission-driven company.
