Responsibilities:
- Perform UltraMist wound care treatments according to the plan of care provided by the supervising Nurse Practitioner.
- Remove and reapply appropriate wound care dressings according to the plan of care.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with the supervising NP regarding patient progress and any concerns.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Utah.
- Must have Home Health experience or similar.
- Valid UT driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
- Experience with wound care, wound vacs and willingness to be trained in UltraMist technology.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient locations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Wound Vac certification or verifiable experience REQUIRED.
