What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Intervention Technician/Specialist position at Innovative Health Care Concepts Inc.?
The Learning Center, a division of Innovative Health Care Concepts (IHCC), is hiring full- and part-time professionals to work as Intervention Technicians and Specialists in our school program! You will teach functional life skills and reduce problem behaviors.
Tech Job requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a human service field – or be within 18 months of graduation with such a degree;
· Active progress towards Intervention Specialist qualification;
· Clean driving record and reliable transportation;
· CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to certify;
· Able to pass an FBI background check.
Specialist Job requirements:
· Meet the tech job requirements plus 1,040 hours working with children with Developmental Disabilities.
· Completed bachelor degree in Human Service field.
Job responsibilities:
· Implementing a behavior plan;
· Teaching age-appropriate functional life skills;
· Assisting participants in taking part in social and leisure activities;
· Following all agency policies regarding treatment of participants;
· Providing transportation for participant;
· Documenting all services for Medicaid reimbursement.
