Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities using Quickbooks Enterprise to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services
- Source suppliers through e-commerce platforms and traditional channels, evaluating their capabilities and pricing to secure the best value
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements with vendors to optimize costs and quality standards
- Collaborate with production planning, logistics, and inventory management teams to forecast needs and maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics including inventory control, logistics efficiency, and supplier compliance
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities that enhance product availability and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards or Oracle EBS in a purchasing or materials management role
- Strong understanding of materials management, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers
- Knowledge of procurement best practices including sourcing strategies, contract management, and pricing analysis
- Familiarity with logistics coordination, inventory control techniques, and e-commerce procurement platforms
- Ability to analyze data related to production planning, merchandising, and supply chain metrics for continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external vendors
