The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Plainview, NY. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing company, directly influencing our sales trajectory and shaping our future. You will be a critical part of our inside sales team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing deals.
- Manage and grow a book of existing business while also proactively hunting for new opportunities and leads through research and networking.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for a diverse client base, including architects, glaziers, builders, general contractors, and residential consumers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Purchasing, Order Entry, Fulfillment) to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
- Demonstrate and present our innovative products in our showroom, at trade shows, and to key decision-makers.
- Provide exceptional pre- and post-sale customer support, building and maintaining strong relationships.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record of success in sales with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with building materials or architectural products.
- A team player with a strong motivation and drive to exceed sales goals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to sell high-ticket items and engage with C-level decision-makers.
- The ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with managing a sales pipeline using a CRM.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
Additional Skills a PLUS (Not Required):
- Experience with CAD and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with architectural metals.
- Experience with windows, doors and interior glass partitions.
- Understanding of basic electrical wiring and concepts.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience) uncapped commission.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday - Friday.
- After-hours work might be needed on occasion.
