The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Plainview, NY. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing company, directly influencing our sales trajectory and shaping our future. You will be a critical part of our inside sales team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President.


What You'll Do:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing deals.
  • Manage and grow a book of existing business while also proactively hunting for new opportunities and leads through research and networking.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for a diverse client base, including architects, glaziers, builders, general contractors, and residential consumers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Purchasing, Order Entry, Fulfillment) to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
  • Demonstrate and present our innovative products in our showroom, at trade shows, and to key decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional pre- and post-sale customer support, building and maintaining strong relationships.


What We're Looking For:

  • A proven track record of success in sales with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with building materials or architectural products.
  • A team player with a strong motivation and drive to exceed sales goals.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to sell high-ticket items and engage with C-level decision-makers.
  • The ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with managing a sales pipeline using a CRM.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).


Additional Skills a PLUS (Not Required):

  • Experience with CAD and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with architectural metals.
  • Experience with windows, doors and interior glass partitions.
  • Understanding of basic electrical wiring and concepts. 


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience) uncapped commission.
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Flexible Spending Account; Life Insurance; Paid Time Off.


Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday.
  • After-hours work might be needed on occasion.
