Shift Lead Retail Sales - Car Keys (Costco)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Shift Lead to help run daily operations, keep our team on track, and make sure our key cutting is accurate and fast.

Just to be clear on what we do: We are a dedicated retail key shop and duplication service. We specialize in making precision copies from existing keys. We are not a mobile locksmith service. There are no emergency late-night lockouts or on-call road dispatches. This is a stable, structured shop environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Keep the shop running smoothly during your shift and lead by example.
• Run our key cutting machines and software to duplicate house, business, and auto keys.
• Greet walk-in customers, handle transactions, and troubleshoot any customer issues.
• Monitor key blank inventory and make sure the machinery stays clean and calibrated.
• Handle opening or closing procedures, including register counting and securing the shop.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead, keyholder, or supervisor in retail or customer service.
• Someone who is highly detail-oriented—accuracy is everything when it comes to cutting a working key.
• Good communication skills and a dependable, punctual work ethic.
• Comfortable working with modern tech and computerized systems.
• Note: You don't need prior key-cutting experience. We will fully train you on all of our specialized equipment.

Days of Operations: Tuesday - Sunday

Store Locations: Moreno Valley, Eastvale, Corona, Chino Hills, City of Industry, La Quinta (Costco’s)

(Must be able to travel to these locations)

Pay: $660.00 - $1,700.00 per week

• Will you be able to pass a background check if requested?
• This role requires traveling to multiple locations including City of Industry, Corona, Chino Hills, Eastvale, Moreno Valley, and La Quinta. Do you have reliable transportation to work across all these sites?
