State-of-the-art dermatology medical office looking for a full-time medical assistant to join our team. Although previous medical training is preferred, we are also open to any candidate who possesses the right mindset and work ethic. We particularly value people who have a "go-getter" personality and can work well with others. This job is a great learning opportunity for pre-health applicants, as you will get hands-on experience with patient care, surgical procedures, and working with laser devices.
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include all aspects of clinical care including assisting with procedures & surgeries, operating laser devices, rooming patients, and handling phone calls from patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and ability to multi-task.
The typical work schedule will include 40 hours per week, spread across 4 weekday shifts. You will have a consistent weekday off each week, as well as every weekend off. This is not a summer position.
