Overview

Innovative Concessions Enterprises has been involved in some of the most elite sporting events for over 30 years, including the NFL Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, MLB World Series, Kentucky Derby, US Open Golf Championship, PGA Championship and much more. We are a major distributor and specialty concessions operator, offering a limited menu of “Fun Foods” with minimal food preparation at events such as those previously mentioned and have openings for full-time Events Supervisor based out its Triad, NC (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point) operation. Prior food service experience is a plus but not a requirement. Limited scheduled overnight travel involved. A valid driver’s license is required.
Duties
- Supervise our specialty food service operations at events or catering environments to ensure smooth operations
- Train, mentor, and develop staff at event operations, customer service, POS systems, and food safety protocols
- Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards and health regulations
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems
- Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure efficient service
- Maintain a clean, environment by enforcing sanitation standards and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to deal with and supervise staff
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (including HACCP principles)
- Ability to train staff effectively and lead teams through busy shifts with energy and professionalism
- Experience in budgeting, inventory control, and food production management is highly desirable
- Experience in food service environments is a plus, but not an absolutely necessity
