Housekeeper Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The primary responsibilities of the Housekeeper will be to maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the home or premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, thorough, and able to work efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
- Dust furniture, wipe down surfaces, and vacuum carpets and rugs
- Change bed linens, make beds, and wash and fold laundry
- Empty trash and recycle bins and dispose of waste properly
- Stock and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household items as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as cleaning windows, baseboards, and walls
- Assist with light meal preparation and dishwashing as needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with homeowners, guests, and other staff members
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for all occupants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and laundry baskets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
