Steel Installation Technician

Innovation Welding is seeking a reliable, hardworking Steel Installer to join our growing team. We are a busy custom metal fabrication shop looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can install a wide variety of fabricated metal products. Our projects include residential and commercial work, from railings and stair systems to structural steel and other custom metal installations.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of custom-fabricated metal products, including railings, stairs, gates, fencing, structural steel, and miscellaneous metals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and installation plans.
• Ensure all installations are completed accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members on job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience installing steel, miscellaneous metals, architectural metals, or structural steel preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
