Medical Assistant / LPN

Innovation Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing practice. If you are organized, patient-focused, and looking for a stable role with room to grow, wed love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and update patient information; ensure all forms, consents, and records are accurate and complete.
• Check patients in and out; assist with referral processing and laboratory coordination.
• Assist providers with medical exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain and document patient vitals; scribe provider notes as directed.
• Support clinical documentation and quality reporting, including MIPS.
• Perform safe and accurate specimen collection and processing, as applicable.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up visits.
• Maintain clear communication with providers, clinical staff, and the Innovation Medical Group operations team.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of patient care, exam procedures, and medical office workflows.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.

Pay Range (Cortez, CO)

Medical Assistant: $18.00 $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification.

LPN: $27.00 $35.00 per hour, based on experience.

Preferred Experience
