We’re Hiring Urgently | Civil / Structural Engineer | Amity, OR
IM Engineering Services (IMES) is seeking a local Civil or Structural Engineer for an urgent short-term assignment in Amity, Oregon.
We need an engineer to assess a two-story residential wood-frame structure and review options for increasing the second-floor ceiling height, including possible truss modification, vaulted ceiling, or tray vault solutions.
What we need:
- Site visit in or near Amity, OR
- Review of existing framing and roof trusses
- Structural feasibility assessment
- Practical recommendations
- Coordination with our remote engineering team
Ideal candidate:
- Civil/Structural Engineer
- Residential structural experience
- Familiarity with wood-framed construction
- Available on urgent basis
- Oregon experience preferred
- PE license is an advantage
