Innovation At Work, Inc. (IAW) is seeking an experienced Commercial Floor Equipment Field Service Technician / Technical Trainer to provide scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, minor repairs, technical training, and maintenance documentation for commercial housekeeping equipment at three customer locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This position supports approximately 329 pieces of commercial housekeeping equipment and requires travel between all three customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct semiannual technical training for customer personnel on the proper operation, care, and routine maintenance of commercial housekeeping equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, lubricate, adjust, and test commercial housekeeping equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and replace normal wear items as required.
- Complete electronic service reports, preventive maintenance documentation, and required data entry.
- Conduct semiannual technical training for customer personnel on the proper operation, care, inspection, and routine maintenance of commercial housekeeping equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment deficiencies requiring corrective action.
- Maintain professional working relationships with customer personnel while ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with contract requirements.

Schedule
- Approximately 48 hours per month
- Two scheduled service days per month at each of the three locations
- Semiannual technical training at each location
- Flexible weekday schedule (Monday–Friday)
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience servicing commercial floor care equipment.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and battery-powered commercial housekeeping equipment.
- Ability to read service manuals and follow manufacturer maintenance procedures.
- Experience completing electronic maintenance records and service documentation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Livermore.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing Advance/Nilfisk, Tennant, Windsor Kärcher, Clarke, Nobles, Minuteman, Powr-Flite, or equivalent commercial floor care equipment.
- Experience supporting hospitals, VA Medical Centers, government facilities, or large healthcare systems.
- Experience conducting operator or equipment training.
