What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineering Intern position at Innovation Associates, Inc.?
The Role:
As a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the quality engineering team in managing and improving supplier quality to meet our stringent manufacturing requirements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to help drive quality improvements that directly impact the production of our pharmacy automation systems.
The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from Tuesday, May 26, 2026, through Friday, July 31, 2026.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in evaluating and monitoring supplier quality performance through data analysis and reporting.
- Support supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Help investigate supplier-related quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support documentation and tracking of quality metrics related to suppliers.
- Participate in project teams focused on enhancing supplier quality processes within the 10-week internship timeframe.

Who you are:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with an interest in quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations) is a plus.

Compensation:
The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, though a candidate's hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
