What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach (Middle School Jumps) position at Innovation Academy Charter School?
Innovation Academy is looking for an assistant jumps coach to work primarily with our middle school outdoor track and field athletes. While the primary focus of this position will be the middle school athletes, there is an expectation to help out with the high school jumpers when needed. Practices are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3pm-5:15pm. In addition to practices this position requires that you attend the majority of meets throughout the season, which are usually scheduled on a weekday in place of practice (but not always). The long and high jumps are focused on and contested at the middle school level. The triple jump is sometimes introduced in the 7th and/or 8th grade, but is usually not contested. This is a stipend position which will pay between $1500 and $2500 for the season, depending on experience and availability.
Please email the Innovation Academy Athletic Director, Nolan McKinnon, at nmckinnon@innovationcharter.org. Please include a coaching resume (focused on your playing and coaching experience in athletics) and a brief explanation as to why you are interested in the position.
Salary : $1,500 - $2,500
