Senior Mechanical Engineer
Looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to focus on the design and development of electro-mechanical systems. This is a full-time onsite role in Tampa, FL (not remote or hybrid).
We are seeking someone who can lead mechanical design work from concept through production, collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, and solve complex engineering challenges.
Looking for someone who will:
- Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to production
- Use SolidWorks for design and system integration
- Perform and support FEA analysis
- Create and maintain engineering drawings and BOMs to ASME Y14.100 / MIL-STD-31000 standards
- Support manufacturing troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Work closely with engineers, suppliers, and production teams
Skillset required:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years’ experience, or equivalent technical/military background with 15 years’ experience
- Strong SolidWorks and 2D CAD experience (required)
- Experience with mechanical system design and manufacturing support
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 20%
