Primary Objective of the Position/

Create automated systems for use in a production and manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, creating detailed project road maps for automation projects that support our business objectives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments.
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining and inspection processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs for equipment.
  • Manage equipment purchase and installation.
  • Prepare manufacturing documentation.
  • Lead collaborative discussions between local management and upper management to determine automation capabilities and goals.
  • Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation.
  • Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.
  • Equipment Bill of Materials.
  • Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
  • End-to-end functional testing of all points to local devices, HMI, control room, and other data off-taker facilities

Other Responsibilities

  • Assists with project planning, scheduling, and coordination for all size projects.
  • Provides technical leadership.
  • Works with other project team members and produces project deliverables as required.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving communications issues.
  • Programming of all devices.
  • Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
  • The development of this position it is not limited to the accomplishments of the activities written in the essential duties and responsibilities, some activities not mentioned could be assigned by their immediately supervisor according with their ability, preparation, and experience.

Essential Requirements

  • Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Full Ambulation and precise eye-hand coordination.
  • Essential Physical Requirements: Moderate to high amount of walking, standing, sitting, reaching, pulling, pushing, stooping, and kneeling. Minimum lifting requirement of 50 pounds.
  • Essential Sensory Requirements: Ability to perform all essential functions visually and audibly.
  • Essential Mental Abilities: Knowledgeable and competent to perform essential functions. Must be able to deal with a variety of personalities with whom the employer comes into contact, both pleasant and irate.

Education and Experience (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 year of hands-on experience in designing automation assembly machineries.
  • Master’s degree is a Plus.
  • Proficiency with PLC hardware selection and programming.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and other computer software.
  • Possesses effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Autocad/Solidworks/Creo.
  • Experience with the design and implementation of automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing.
  • Strong ability with software testing and validation.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.- Preferred

Job Training Requirements

  • Carryout and implement cinch quality policy.
  • Carry out all AS9100 requirements.
  • Always have good work ethics, so co-workers can model on them.
  • Always create a clean and safe work environment.
  • Solidworks / Cre-O Software.

Pay: $140,407.23 - $180,124.84 per year
