If you're someone who enjoys making meaningful connections with patients and working closely with a seasoned team, this could be a wonderful match.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services on an as-needed basis. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, assist patients in restoring movement and function, and contribute to their overall recovery and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and executing treatment plans.Provide direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training.Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and proper use of assistive devices.Observe and document patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in physical therapy.QualificationsEducation: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Licensure: Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in MissouriExperience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).Work EnvironmentPRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.Skilled Nursing Facility.Requires adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage based on experience.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A rewarding role helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.We are an equal opportunity employer.
