- Lead design management efforts for a large-scale data center construction project.
- Coordinate design activities across architecture, engineering, construction, operations, and client stakeholder teams.
- Manage design deliverables from preconstruction through construction execution and project delivery.
- Review drawings, specifications, design changes, RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.
- Partner with project leadership to ensure design intent is aligned with schedule, budget, constructability, and operational requirements.
- Identify design gaps, risks, conflicts, and coordination issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Support cross-functional communication between design teams, field teams, contractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.
- Drive design coordination meetings, action items, issue resolution, and documentation tracking.
- Ensure project teams are aligned on technical requirements, client standards, and mission-critical infrastructure expectations.
- Support change management, value engineering, and constructability review efforts.
- 5 years of experience in data center construction, design management, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
- Prior experience supporting data center, hyperscale, cloud, AI infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Strong design management and cross-functional coordination experience.
- Experience leading design efforts through construction, commissioning readiness, and project delivery.
- Ability to work effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and operations teams.
- Strong understanding of design coordination, constructability, RFIs, submittals, design changes, and project documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting a Magnificent 7 technology client or similarly complex hyperscale environment.
- Background working on large-scale cloud, AI, or high-density data center campuses.
- Experience supporting fast-paced, confidential, large-scale infrastructure programs.
- Familiarity with mission-critical MEP systems, commissioning coordination, and operational turnover requirements.
