The Role

• The Senior React Native Developer is a hands-on role responsible for building world-class mobile experiences that serve as the face of Innovapptive’s Connected Worker Platform.
  Reporting to a Technical Team Lead, this engineer will design, develop, and optimize mobile features using AI-First engineering practices, ensuring unmatched reliability, performance, and user experience.
• This is not a traditional coding role. It’s a next-generation AI-accelerated engineering position, where human intelligence and machine assistance work together to build faster, debug smarter, and deliver better.

How You Will Make An Impact

1. Deliver World-Class Mobile Experiences

• Develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript) with clean, modular, and maintainable architecture.
• Leverage AI tools like Cursor.AI, ChatGPT, and Bolt.AI to accelerate component design, code generation, and test authoring.
• Implement offline-first, sync-resilient functionality using Innovapptive’s RapidSync framework to support critical field operations.

2. Drive Quality, Reliability, and Observability

• Integrate Sentry, LeakCanary, and Firebase telemetry to proactively detect crashes, hangs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA Automation to implement AI-driven test coverage using Testim, ensuring full regression validation per release.
• Participate in RCA post-mortems — using AI agents to summarize, classify, and recommend code fixes — reducing resolution time by 50 %.

3. Accelerate Delivery through AI

• Use AI copilots to generate boilerplate, refactor code, and enforce coding standards automatically.
• Employ AI-powered CI/CD workflows for automated build validation, linting, and deployment readiness checks.
• Continuously learn and implement new AI-augmented workflows to increase velocity and reduce rework.

4. Collaborate and Communicate Effectively

• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and Design to translate user stories into deployable features.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives — sharing AI-driven insights to enhance team throughput.
• Document code and technical decisions using AI-generated summaries and architecture annotations.

5. Innovate with New Technologies

• Contribute to integration of Computer Vision, AI Assistants, and Predictive Maintenance modules within the mobile platform.
• Research and prototype new React Native libraries, AI SDKs, and performance-optimization techniques.
• Actively participate in Innovapptive’s Mobile Architecture Guild, sharing best practices and patterns.

What You Bring to the Team

• 5 – 8 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 3 years focused on React Native.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hooks, Redux, and mobile performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools (ChatGPT, Cursor.AI, Bolt.AI, Testim) and telemetry platforms (Sentry, LeakCanary, Firebase).
• Understanding of offline-first architectures, data sync mechanisms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and optimizing for low-bandwidth or high-latency environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to documentation and cross-functional alignment.

Success Metrics (First 90 – 180 Days)

• Code velocity ↑ 40 % using AI copilots for daily tasks.
• Crash-free user rate ≥ 99 %, validated via Sentry and Firebase telemetry.
• Bug regression ↓ 50 % through AI-assisted RCA and automated testing.
• RapidSync performance ↑ 25 % through optimization and proactive telemetry tuning.
• Full adoption of AI-First development workflows within 90 days.
