Software Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer.

Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension. 
Location: Charlotte, NC – 3 days onsite/ 2 day remote

Overview: Client is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer with expertise in developing scalable, high-performance applications. They possess proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, MS SQL Server, REST APIs, and Spark. They excel in analyzing complex technical challenges, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to large-scale, impactful projects. Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset are essential.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend APIs and UI components 
• Analyze and resolve complex software engineering challenges 
• Design and optimize Spark ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and data quality 
• Write high-coverage unit and automation tests for backend and frontend 
• Containerize applications and manage deployments on OpenShift and Kubernetes 
• Automate CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions 
• Collaborate with internal teams and offshore partners to meet project goals 
• Optimize SQL queries and database structures for reliability and efficiency

• Experience in software engineering or equivalent roles 
• Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, MS SQL Server, REST API, and Spark 
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications 
• Problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities 
• Experience working on large-scale, long-term projects

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60- $65 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
