System Engineer III

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a System Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 12 months

Location: Jacksonville FL

As a System Engineer You Will

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Administer Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability.

Knowledge of automation / DevOps tools - Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket

Develop dashboards with Grafana to monitor real time logs, server health check etc.

Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

Troubleshoot and analyze issues with failed deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Bash scripting and Python.

Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Unix background with experience of supporting containerized application. (Podman, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes.)

Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Ozone, HDFS.

Strong understanding of Unix/Linux principles and security.

Drive data visualization and analytics initiatives using Tableau, Grafana and Apache superset.

DevOps Practices.

In-depth knowledge of relational databases Postgres.

Experience with Hadoop.

Pay Range*:$65/hr - $70 per hour>
