Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Specialist.

Quality Control Specialist

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Wilmington, MA 01887

As a Quality Control Specialist You Will

• Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
• Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes.
• Oversees testing department activities and work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
• Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures.
• Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
• Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
  
  

Basic Qualification

• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Must have 4 years CMM software Zeiss CALYPSO or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Keyence machines
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word

Pay Range And Benefits

Pay Range*: $40 to $ $43/per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
