Pay Range*: $77/hr. - $80/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Lead DevOps Engineer, you will:
Design, Implement, and Manage enterprise-grade monitoring and telemetry platforms. The role focuses on building scalable observability solutions using Datadog and other monitoring technologies across AWS-based environments, enabling proactive monitoring, incident detection, and operational excellence.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Implement and manage full-stack observability solutions using Datadog across infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.
- Configure and instrument monitoring agents for AWS environments.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, monitors, SLA/SLO tracking, and anomaly detection workflows.
- Integrate enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SSO, and ITSM tools.
- Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Python and Terraform.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.
- Support CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure monitoring across Kubernetes and AWS environments.
- Optimize telemetry collection, cloud agent instrumentation, and observability security/vulnerability management.
- Analyze system performance trends and troubleshoot production issues proactively.
Ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Python scripting and automation.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- At least 5 years of experience in Observability/Monitoring solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Must have at least 4 years of experience with Datadog (APM, Distributed Tracing, Infrastructure Monitoring)
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools such as Jenkins.
Nice to Have
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
