A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Analyst
Position type: Full-time Contract (w2)
Role: Business Analyst
Duration: 10 months Contract (with possibilities of Extension)
Location : Salem, OR - Onsite Work
Required Skills
- Business Analysis: Ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support solution delivery.
- Microsoft SQL Server: Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Stakeholder Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and leadership to drive alignment and resolution.
- Integrated Eligibility Systems: Experience supporting or working within integrated eligibility or similar large-scale public sector systems.
- Microsoft .NET Core: Understanding of application architecture to support defect analysis and solution design.
- Visual Studio Team System: Familiarity with work item tracking, version control, and collaboration tools.
- Perform comprehensive defect triage, evaluating severity, business impact, and priority across multiple systems.
- Conduct detailed root-cause analysis of defects and recommend effective resolution strategies aligned with both business needs and technical constraints.
- Design and document solutions for defects and enhancement work items, ensuring clear guidance for development, testing, and implementation.
- Develop and execute data validation processes to ensure program integrity and accuracy of system outputs.
- Manage Maintenance & Operations (M&O) activities, including production support, issue resolution, and implementation of minor system enhancements to close functional gaps.
- Create and maintain data integrity and exception queries to proactively identify inconsistencies and prevent downstream system impacts.
- Perform in-depth data analysis using Microsoft SQL Server to support issue investigation, validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (business, development, QA, and operations) to ensure timely defect resolution and continuous system improvement.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $38 - $42 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
