What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Project Engineer position at INNOVA Architects?
INNOVA Architects is seeking a full-time Structural Project Engineer to work on federal design project with the Department of Defense and other local government agencies. To be considered, candidates must have extensive experience and capability performing project design as a whole. The applicant must have 3 years’ experience in structural building design of commercial buildings, including in timber, concrete, steel and masonry.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Professional Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural (required)
· PE Licensed within WA state (preferred but not required)
· 3 years’ experience in all phases of engineering design of commercial buildings.
· Proficient with code requirements (timber design, concrete design, steel design, masonry design)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both internally and externally.
· Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, and team asset.
