What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL - Driller Assistant position at Innov8 Drilling Services?
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Drill Rig Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the drill rig operator in the safe and efficient operation of the drill rig. Applicant must live within 5 hours of our office in El Campo Texas, or be willing to relocate.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed
- Monitor the drill rig and its components for any signs of malfunction or damage
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of the drill rig
- Assist in the loading and unloading of drill rig components
- Assist in the preparation of the drill site
- Assist with other on-site responsibilities such as site clean up and grouting of the boreholes Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to work long hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid commercial driver's license and clean driving record
- Travel is required - per diem and hotel costs will be provided
