Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Maple Grove, MN, for a Custom Power Unit Systems Fabricator. The role involves assembling and fabricating custom power unit systems, ensuring quality and precision in every step of the production process. Responsibilities include working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, interpreting engineering designs and technical drawings, and collaborating closely with the engineering team. Candidates will also perform quality inspections, installations, and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout fabrication and assembly.
Qualifications
- Fluid Power degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- ISO/Quality System training and compliance knowledge
- Proficiency in precision fabrication and assembly techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
- Welding and fabrication experience, including layout work
- Knowledge of motor wiring and circuit assembly
- Skilled in electrical control panel assembly, testing and troubleshooting
- Competence in hydraulic hose and tube assembly
- Strong problem-solving skills for custom designs
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Conduct test setups and ensure product functionality meets standards
- Operate paint booth equipment for finishing processes
