InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a Machine Vision Engineer - Automation for a company in Southern, NH.This requires being onsite 5 days a week. Must be US Citizen or Greencard Holder.This Engineer will join the industrial automation team developing vision inspection systems for medical device manufacturing. This role will collaborate with both our automation team and the company's robotic perception group to ensure product quality and manufacturing excellence.How you will make an impact as an Automation Machine Vision Engineer:Design and maintain machine vision systems for detecting anomalies in manufactured medical devices including dimensional measurement, surface inspection, assembly verification, and seal integritySelect and specify cameras, lenses, and lighting configurations for diverse inspection challengesIntegrate vision systems with Allen-Bradley PLCs and manufacturing automation equipment Apply both contrast-based and learning-based detection methods to solve inspection challengesDevelop Python scripts and tools for data analysis and process improvement Support manufacturing sites and machine builders through regional travel (5-10%)Advance vision capabilities through collaboration with the company's robotic perception groupTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills:B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experienceRemote and hybrid work not available, must be able to work on-site 5 days a weekMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial machine vision systemsProficiency with Keyence vision systems (Cognex experience is a plus)Strong understanding of optical component selection and lighting principlesPython or other scripting language proficiencyExperience integrating vision with PLCs and automation equipmentDemonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and validate solutions under time-critical constraintsStrong data-driven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesWillingness to travel regionally (5-10%)Clear technical documentation and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing experienceStatistical process controlMultiple vision platform experienceDeep learning frameworks for vision applicationsBackground in optics or imaging science
